Quite a month...

I haven't updated this thing in nearly a month. That's hardly surprising. My blog updates have been random at best in the past. So, what has happened in the last month?

Not much.

I read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and then for Valentine's Day the lovely Ms. Rita got me Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and I finished that too. Both books were good. Even though I wasn't surprised by their endings, I was still pretty impressed with how they were done. I've since started reading The Da Vinci Code, but I'm not really sure if I like it all that much yet. I think I might read Ender's Game after that.

I have a lot of time for reading regular books this semester and I have to say I like that. My classes are going well so far. I had my first test in History today and I'm pretty sure I dominated it. I have an Astronomy test on Wednesday that I'm a little less sure of, but I'm going to study and hopefully do alright. I'll be satisfied with a B in that class. I've gotten all but one paper done for IST and all of them were perfect scores except one that was a 14, so I've got an A in that now.

Middle East Politics is still my most interesting class. I wrote two papers for that that are due Thursday. I was really pleased with one paper and thought I did a great job, but I don't like the other one quite as much and I think I'm going to work on that some more. Comparitive Politics and Public Policy and Administration are still very boring. My first test in Comparitive Politics is coming up soon, and my first graded paper in Public Policy and Administration should be handed back tomorrow so I'll be able to guage how I'm doing in them soon.

Other than that, I've just been hanging out with the guys and Rita on a daily basis. I wrote a review for State of Emergency 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 earlier this month and I liked both of them. Anthony and Zach got digital cable and I have a feeling I'm going to be watching a lot of TV in there. I met Rita's mom and sister at the Vagina Monolgues (which was excellent) and though I was a bit nervous they were both very nice and may have liked me. Rita and I have been spending a lot of time together. We watched Moulin Rouge and that was pretty cool. For Valentine's Day, I got Rita one of those laptop mice for her computer and took her to dinner at Vonas, and she got me shower supplies for her room and Harry Potter, as well as an incredibly boss card.

I figure that's pretty much how the rest of the year will go. I'm not complaining. I'm going to Turning Stone this weekend for a little while with the lovely Ms. Rita. Dan might be having guests and I think he asked me to leave the room. I'm not sure. I like Dan so I gave him shit about how I've never asked him to leave the room, and then I told him I would. ROFL.
